The Harbor Lane Library offers programs on an ongoing basis including aerobics and toning classes, Mondays, 7:30 p.m.; Tournament Scrabble, Mondays, 11 a.m.; Let’s Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Friday, 1 p.m.; strength training classes for seniors, Monday mornings, 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m; Mah Jongg, Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m.; line dancing, Fridays, 10:30 a.m. and Let’s Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Friday, 1 p.m. Contact the Library for details.

The Harbor Lane Library together with the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, Flotilla 13-12, will be presenting a Basic Boating Safety Course on various dates. There is a materials fee of $50. Sign up by calling 541-8497. Farmingdale 116 Merritts Road  249-9090

The Farmingdale Library offers computer classes for adults. Contact the Library for details.

The volunteers are in the library Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon from Senior Connections. Help is available to find out what you can do to avoid a lot of health problems of the older generation.

The Paul Gatto Jazz Band will perform Thursday, December 28, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the lower level. All are welcome.

A “craft clean-up” will be held Thursday, December, December 28, 10:30 a.m.

Yoga with Eileen Lichtenstein will be held Thursday, December 28, 7 p.m. The cost is $10 per person. Bring a yoga mat or towel and wear comfortable clothing. Registration is required and payable by check to the Farmingdale Public Library. Plainedge 1060 Hicksville Rd. Massapequa  735-4133

A few tickets to see A Chorus Line on January 24, 2007, 10 a.m. are still available. The cost is $119.25. Contact the Library for availability.
