Longtime Massapequa Park resident and Valley Stream teacher Walter R. Kregel died October 1, 2007. He was 78 years old and had lived on Gem Lane in Massapequa Park for 47 years. Born August 18, 1929 in the Bronx to Walter R. and Connie (nee Hanke), he served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1952 to 1954. More...
