Massapequans celebrate holidays, 2006

Massapequans celebrated the Christmas and Chanukah holidays last week. In photo, Christmas Mass is said at St. Rose of Lima R.C. Church. Shown in photo at bottom, Chanukah celebration by the Meadowbrook Chapter of the Brandeis University National Women's Committee was held at the Massapequa Library. Addy Kalsmith, a spokeswoman for the group said that members include many from Massapequa and the surrounding area.
