Pennies for Patients for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The Leukemia &Lymphoma Society's Pennies for Patients Program will help you become a hero to people battling blood cancers.

The program gives students the unique opportunity to help other children through a community service project and raise funds to move closer to find a cure for blood cancers.

Students are asked to collect their spare change during a three-week campaign in March and bring the donations into their classrooms. Every school is a winner. The highest fundraising classroom in the school will receive a party. Each student and school is eligible for other prizes. Your spare change can make a difference.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world's largest private organization concerned solely with funding research towards cures for blood-related cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma and improving the quality of life of patients and their families. As a result of ongoing research, overall survival rates for leukemia have tripled in the last 39 years.
