Massapequa's Birch Lane Elementary School has announced the winners of its Fourth Annual Bookmark contest, held in honor of Children's Book Week. "Hundreds of students entered the contest, and did a wonderful job, making it very difficult to choose winners," said Birch Lane Librarian Melinda Alford. Congratulations go to first grade - Annie Leone and Jake Pulis, second grade - Elizabeth Murphy and Alexa LoCascio, third grade - James Graziano and Emmalynn Knapp, fourth grade - Alyssa Jannello and Corwin Brown, fifth grade - Anthony Carnevale and Bridget Maresca and sixth grade - Morgan Roessler and Keon Karimabady.

Last Licks donated gift certificates as prizes for the winning contestants.
