Senator Fuschillo sworn in for 5th term in NYS Senate

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (8th Senate District) was recently sworn in for his fifth full term as the New York Senator for the 8th District. Senator Fuschillo took the oath of office in the Senate Chamber on the opening day of the 2007-2008 legislative session.

"Representing our community in the New York State Senate is an honor and a privilege that I hold in a very high regard, and I am grateful for the faith and trust that people have shown me," said Senator Fuschillo. "I look forward to another two years of serving my constituents."

Senator Fuschillo stated that his top priorities for his upcoming term in office include continuing to deliver property tax relief, securing additional aid for local school districts and municipalities creating reforms to increase accountability and strengthening laws to protect the health and safety of our residents.
