Public hearing on Town parking facilities

Proposed improvements to Town of Oyster Bay parking facilities will be the subject of a Tuesday, February 13, public hearing by the Oyster Bay Town Board, according to Town Councilman Anthony D. Macagnone.

"The proposal consists of improvements such as curb repairs, resurfacing and restriping, improvements to the third floor and stairwell of the Town parking garage in Hicksville, and the upgrading of parking meters," Councilman Macagnone explained. "To finance these improvements, the Town Board is considering the issuance of $350,000 in serial bonds."

The meeting will be held in the hearing room of Town Hall East, 54 Audrey Ave., Oyster Bay. Beginning at 10 a.m., the regular Town calendar, including the above-mentioned hearing, will be called. Following the regular Town business, the Town Board will be available to listen to public comment on any matter. "
