St. Rose of Lima School in Massapequa announced their students participated at the All County Music Festival at C.W. Post's Tilles Center on January 12 to 14. Renowned guest conductors, who are invited to enhance this educationally meaningful experience, will be directing the various performances. It is intended to be both enjoyable and musically rewarding.

The Music Festival is sponsored by the Nassau Music Educators Association. This is an annual event designed to showcase some of the finest student musicians throughout the county. Players are selected to these distinguished ensembles based on NYSSMA scores and teacher recommendations.

"We are very proud of our students," said Pam Zier, music teacher. "It takes a tremendous amount of talent, dedication, and hard work to reach a level of proficiency sufficient for acceptance into All-County."
