Wantagh Kiwanis presents Libby Pataki's book to St. David's Preschool

Georgiana Sena, president of the Wantagh Kiwanis Club and a resident of Farmingdale, presented Libby Pataki's latest hard cover children's book, Madison in New York, to St. David's Preschool, December 12, 2006. Robin Lever, director of the school accepted the books along with Rev. David J. Meyers, pastor of St. David's Lutheran Church in Massapequa Park.

As part of Kiwanis International's Read to Children program, Sena received the books from the First Lady and has been presenting them to local schools for teachers to read to preschoolers and kindergarten children. Sena also presented Pataki's books to Dotty Meyer's Renaissance Preschool that's located in Amherst, Massachusetts.

Pataki has served as First Lady of New York State since January 1, 1995. During her tenure Pataki has also co-authored two cultural tourism books for children, Artfully Taught and NYC ABC. Pataki is the mother of four children, Emily, Teddy, Allison and Owen.
