FBHS seeks pre- 1950 tools

The spring 2007 exhibit of the Farmingdale- Bethpage Historical Society will feature pre-1950 tools. Any items used in managing a household, an occupation or a hobby would be appreciated. Items might include common kitchen utensils, garden implements, mechanical aids, workbench and carpentry staples, anything one might have used to facilitate everyday routines or specialty projects. Attics, garages and sheds have always been wonderful repositories for tools.

Anyone wishing to contribute to this display, which will be located in the gallery of the Farmingdale Public Library, can contact JoAnn Krapp, exhibit coordinator, at 694-7146 or Dr. Benjamin Giminaro at 249-0863.
