Massapequa Park Village Merchants Association
Where commerce and community work hand-in-hand

Carol Leff
It is time someone wrote an article about PSP. Here we are at the start of another snow/ice/sleet storm which should start sometime this week. (Hopefully it will be over by the time this article is published.)

Why is it that certain of us absolutely panic at the thought of going without some type of food we might desire such as chocolate cake or an English muffin, food which we generally might not eat as a rule. However, with a storm fast approaching I spent another $100 in our Great Park Boulevard supermarket, IGA Village Farms.

My sides are hurting from laughing. I just got off the phone with some of my friends who inform me that they also went to the market and stocked up on goodies and staples. They are all busy cooking things now I case the electric goes out. Well, happy eating. I hope we all enjoy being in our own homes

and feeling safe and secure throughout the storm. Don't forget those flashlight batteries.

Reminder - please remember our jelly bean contest this month. Our jar will be placed inside The Town Florist Store on Park Boulevard. Guess how many beans are in the jar and a great prize will be yours. The contest will go on for approximately two more weeks and then three winners will be picked. See Suzann at Town Florist for further details.

Please continue to support our members on Park Boulevard and Merrick Road. We appreciate your business.
