Let's clean up pigeon problem, please

We know it's winter and spring clean-up efforts are not underway yet, but the proliferation of pigeon poop along many traversed roads throughout Massapequa is disgusting. Case in point: Hicksville Road in the area of Eckerds drug store. It's almost impossible for pedestrians to navigate there without stepping into the stuff.

We'd like to see a more concerted effort on the part of the town and on shopkeepers and the Long Island Railroad to stay ahead of the pigeons on this. Right now, the pigeons are winning and it's not a healthy or pleasant thing to witness.
