Legislator Mejias guest speaker at SEPTA meeting

Nassau County Legislator Dave Mejias (D-North Massapequa) was recently a guest speaker at the Special Education Parent Teacher Association (SEPTA), held at the Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School in Farmingdale. Legislator Mejias addressed the large SEPTA member turnout encouraging parents to write to their state elected officials concerning the present school aid formula, asking for it to be r e - e v a l u a t e d , making a large difference in the high property taxes the community is burdened with.

Shown in the photo are Legislator Dave Mejias and Stacey Tranchina, first vice president of SEPTA.
