Community tax meeting held
Nassau County Legislator Dave Mejias (D-North Massapequa) recently hosted a community tax meeting on the Nassau County Taxpayer Assistance Program at the Farmingdale Public Library. The workshop was extended to residents to explain the application process for their Property Tax Assessment and provided information for the 2008-2009 assessment notice sent to homeowners. Dolores Sedacca of the Nassau County Department of Assessment was available to explain how the Department values a home based on its current fair market value and provided useful information
