MPK Village election Tuesday, March 20th
by Tiffany Elliott

Massapequa Park residents are urged to show their support and cast a vote in next week's election even though there are no challengers in the race because every number counts, according to Mayor James Altadonna who said that these numbers are used to secure grants in the village.

Up for reelection, and uncontested, are Mayor James Altadonna for his fourth two-year term, Trustee and Deputy Mayor Joe Pinto seeking his fifth term two-year and Trustee Harry Jacobson hoping for his fourth two-year term. The three candidates are running under the Village Peoples Rights-First Party.

On Tuesday, March 20, residents can vote at the Village Hall, 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at 151 Front Street. Absentee ballots can be picked up by March 19th and must be returned by the day of the vote. For information call, 798-0244, ext.11.
