Pamela Wu
+Ashley Kate Piccinnini, of Massapequa, was named to the dean's list for exceptional performance for the fall 2006 semester at The Villanova School of Business at Villanova University, Pennsylvania. She attained a 3.85 grade point average. Piccinnini is a 2006 graduate of Massapequa High School and the daughter of Kathy and John Piccinnini.

+Named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester at Rensselaer Polytechnic, Troy, New York are the following local residents: From Massapequa are Alison J. Duncan, Joseph F. Totino and Christopher

T. Wicker and from Massapequa Park is Michael P. Kennery.

+Pamela Wu, a North Massapequa resident and Long Island Lutheran Middle and High School eight grader, was named December 2006's Student of the Month for her academic excellence as well as character and service to fellow students.

+Catherine Groene, of Massapequa Park, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester at Fordham University, the Bronx. She was also named to the Atlantic 10Commissioner's Honor Roll for student athletes. Groene is a graduate of Kellenberg Memorial High School.

+Three local residents have been named to the dean's list for the fall semester at the State University of New York at Oswego. From Massapequa are Briana T. Fazio, a junior second education ma- jor and Victoria M. Maksym, a sophomore elementary education major and from Massapequa Park is Julianne M. Miller, a junior elementary education major. +Doreen Porter, of Massapequa Park, was named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester at the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

Catherine Groene
+Katherine Balfour, of Massapequa Park, has been named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester at Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Virginia. She is a sophomore majoring in interior design in the College of Architecture and Urban Studies.

+The following local residents have been named to the president's list at the State University of New York at Potsdam for the fall 2006 semester for attaining a grade point average of 3.5 or more: From Massapequa are music education major Alicia Barbara Perrone and music education major Ryan James Taussig and from Massapequa Park are music education major William John Duerr, performance music major Benjamin Firer, music education major Michael James Maino, music education major Robert Glenn McGarity and music education and performance music major Jamie Lynn Scotto.

+Named to the dean's list at Syracuse University College of Visual and Performing Arts dean's list for the fall 2006 semester are Alyssa LoPresti of North Massapequa and Christian Nedbalsky of Massapequa Park.
