Event for the Veterans at Northport Veterans Hospital to be held on March 31

On March 31, the Village of Massapequa Park and the Greater Massapequa Day committee will stage another event for the veterans at Northport Veterans Hospital.

The purpose of Massapequa Cares Day is to entertain the men who fought for our country with a USO type show. Gifts such as slippers, socks, robes and tshirts are needed to distribute to the veterans.

As in the past, the group will strive to make Massapequa Cares a day to be remembered by the veterans. This can only be done with the support of the community both in volunteering their services and monetary contributions.
