No. Massapequan honored at New York Ultrarunning awards brunch

Veteran ultramarathoner Sherry Bellovin, of North Massapequa, was one of those honored at the fifth annual New York Ultrarunning Awards Brunch held on Sunday, January 28 to honor the premier endurance runners in the New York metropolitan area for the year 2006. The Brunch was held at the Greater Long Island Running Club Clubhouse in Plainview, under the direction of new York Ultrarunning Cochairs Vinny Croce and Bob Sherman.

Bellovin was one of the top finishers in the New York Ultrarunning Grand Prix for 2006, scoring as the second place woman in the 55 to 59 age group.

The 2007 New York UltraRunning Grand Prix gets started on March 4 with the Caumsett Park 50 Kilometer Run.
