Town of Oyster Bay Indoor Car Show to Benefit CancerCare April 14 Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto invites participants and residents to the Town's Indoor Auto Show, scheduled for Saturday, April 14 in Massapequa. The event will be held at 20 Carmans Rd. (adjacent to Westfield Sunrise Mall) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds will benefit CancerCare of Long Island. "The Town's indoor car show to benefit CancerCare is a great opportunity for owners of vintage vehicles to display their automobiles, as well as a great afternoon outing for families," Supervisor Venditto said. "The greatest benefit will be to CancerCare, a national non-profit organization that provides free professional support services to anyone affected by cancer." The Supervisor noted that new motorcycles will also be on display. "The fee for displaying your vehicle is $10. Resi- dents attending are asked to pay a $5 fee, which will include lunch, courtesy of Checkers," Supervisor Venditto stated. "Children age 12 and under are free." The Supervisor noted that vintage leather jackets will be raffled off at the event, courtesy of Crazy Freddy, Harley Davidson and Empire Cycles. All money raised from the raffle will benefit CancerCare. Event sponsors include CSEA Region I and Local CSEA 881, Empire Cycles, Broadway Gourmet, Jammin Sounds Entertainments, Mercedes Benz of Massapequa, Checkers, World Class Autos, Crazy Freddy's Motor Sports, Harley Davidson of Nassau County Motorcycles and Security Dodge Chrysler. CancerCare is a national nonprofit organization that provides free professional support services to anyone affected by cancer: people with cancer, caregivers, children, loved ones, and the bereaved.
