Celebrating 50 years of marriage
Mr. and Mrs. D'Elia remained in the area for two months, attending the International Film Festival, the Bob Hope Golf Classic and many other local attractions. The D'Elias are 48-year residents of Massapequa. Their five children attended St. Rose of Lima School and Massapequa High School.
Mr. D'Elia is a retired insurance executive from John Hancock Insurance Co. He is a member of the St. Francis and the Brooklyn Basketball Hall of Fame. He and his wife Ann are enjoying their retirement, traveling and visiting with their eight grandchildren.
