Massapequa High School students beautify the community

Shown in the photo are the Massapequa High School students who braved the elements to beautify their community: left to right, back row, are Dan Carroll, James Cassidy, Sean Kerwin, Kevin Valenski, John Murray, Mike Giambanco and Michael Sicuranza; middle row are Klaudia Gurga, Alexandria Gentry, Danielle Sabia, Elizabeth Sarant and Nick Vento and in the front row are Kimberly Decesare, Lindsay Walsh, Lacy Lohr and Gabriella Ricciardi.
Gale Domingo's Drawing and Painting I classes at Massapequa High School got into the holiday spirit as they worked with the Post Office to create a festive holiday mural for their display windows. Student Lindsay Walsh created the design, and students braved one of the coldest days of November to paint the colorful mural. The Post Office provided support and plenty of hot chocolate to fuel the students' creative energy. The end result is a festive display that the entire Massapequa community enjoyed throughout the holiday season.
