GDS students play stock market game
Shown are Massapequa Grace Day School's fifth graders using the schools brand new laptops to place their first trades, while playing
Newsday's Stock Market Game. The Stock Market Game is a 10-week program that gives teams of students a fictitious $100,000 to spend buying stocks over the 10-week period. The students have an online portfolio where they keep track of their "buys and sells". The results are tracked in
Newsday on a weekly basis.
