YES sponsors Rent-a-Kid program for odd jobs YES Community Counseling Center, a non-profit community based agency in Massapequa, is sponsoring the Rent-A-Kid program. This program assists 14- through 17-year-olds from the Massapequas, Farmingdale and Plainedge in connecting with the homeowners in these areas to do numerous odd jobs. Participants are closely supervised by the vocational coordinator and parents to ensure a positive work experience for the young people.
Interested homeowners with odd jobs such as yard work, shoveling, babysitting, tutoring or pet sitting or any teens who are willing to do this kind of work in their neighborhood should call the vocational coordinator Vanessa LaFichi at 799-3203.
