Walk-a-thon to benefit AMT Children of Hope Foundation April 14

Nassau District, Order of the Eastern Star, will hold its 7th Annual Walk-a-thon to benefit the AMT Children of Hope Foundation, an organization founded to bury "dumpster babies," giving them the dignity in death they never received during their short lives and to educate the public about the Safe Haven law so they will never have to bury another victim of infanticide again.

The walk is being held at Westfield Sunrise Mall, Carmans Road, Massapequa, Saturday, April 14, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sign-in is at the Children of Hope Family Center, located on the north side of the mall, on the lower level, in front of Sears.

Walkers and non-walkers and people of all ages are welcome to join in. The check for your tax deductible donation, should be made payable to AMT children of Hope. For further information, call 516-826-2314.
