“Massapequa Takes Action” Offers Parent Workshop April 30

Did you know that children who start drinking before age 15 are five times more likely to have alcohol problems when they are adults? If you didn't, you are not alone. Don't let what you don't know hurt you, and more importantly, your child. Come to a parent training, and start talking to your child. Sponsored by Massapequa Takes Action, (MTA), the workshop is scheduled for Monday, April 30, 7:30 to 9p.m. in the Massapequa High School Little Theater. For more information, contact Diane Marascia, social worker at Massapequa High School at 797-6018.
