ToBay Spring Co-Ed walking program registration

The snow is melting and the warm spring weather is just around the corner, why not come out for the Town of Oyster Bay Co-Ed Walking Program. According to Town Councilman Chris J. Coschignano, the program, held at Syosset-Woodbury and Marjorie R. Post Community Parks, is a great way to get in shape during the warmer months.

Registration runs through May 1. The walking program begins on May 1 and runs through May 31.

"The program begins at Marjorie R. Post Community Park on May 1 and will be held twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10 to 11 a.m.," Councilman Coschignano said. "The program at Syosset Woodbury Community Park will be held in two sessions, every Monday and Wednesday beginning May 2, from 10 to 11 a.m."

Registration forms can be obtained at Town Halls North and South, at community park facilities and at all local libraries. They should be returned to park managers or to the Town of Oyster Bay Parks Department, Division of Recreation, 977 Hicksville Rd., Massapequa, NY 11758.

For further information, contact the Parks Department at 797-4126.
