Kiwanis donates toys and clothing
 | | The Kiwanis Club of Massapequa recently donated a large quantity of toys and clothing to the Brunswick Children's Psychiatric Hospital, many coming from the Toys for Tots Program. The psychiatric center has a youth division with 60 to 70 children up to age 17, who will not be home for the holidays. "We have done this for many years" noted president John Rywelski, adding, "and because of their situation, it's totally anonymous, we never see the chidlren". A "wish list" is provided to match up the children with the most appropriate gift. The Kiwanis Club of Massapequa, which meets Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. at Sidekick's Restaurant, except the fourth Wednesday lunch at 12:30 p.m., does many things in your community.
