Tough road ahead should be well worth worth it Work is underway along Sunrise Highway, the beginning of a major project that was more than a decade and a half in the making. The plans show that the work will include resolving some longstanding safety issues that anyone who traverses this roadway will agree need to be addressed.
Our hope is that the work proceeds quickly, and with as little disruption to travelers as possible. However, it is unrealistic to expect that a project of this magnitude will not have an impact on drivers. It is going to take patience, a willingness to travel other routes and some additional time to get through this maze. But, as in most things, the end result should make it all worthwhile.
