Reader appreciates newspaper's stand Thank you so much for the add placed April 11 "Politics over Patriotism". The world is becoming a crazy place and it comforts me to know there are media people who care about what's good for America and its citizens and not their own agendas whether that is because of money or personal political beliefs. I have been a subscriber of your newspaper for many, many years and have always agreed with and understood your editorials and the feelings you have impassioned there. Thank you for continuing to give a voice to your views (which I agree with consistently) even though that opinion might be politically incorrect by today's media standards. And thank you for your unwavering support of our heroic troops who deserve this kind of support from all the media outlets and people in this country. You stand tall in a sea of political correctness gone wild. I'm so proud of our military and this GREAT country they serve with such HONOR - maybe it's time people, especially the major media outlets begin noticing all that's good in America instead of looking to find all the wrongs committed.
