Massapequa teen chosen as State finalist in pageant Gabrielle Bernard, of Massapequa, has been chosen as a State finalist in the National American Miss Pageant to be held August 13 at the Brooklyn Marriott. The pageant is held for girls ages 16 to 18.
Bernard, a student at Amityville Memorial High School, is active with the volleyball team, National Honor Society, SADD club, math team and secretary of the junior class. she also enjoys reading, listening to music, handing out with friends and watching movies.
