Motorcycle Run to end hunger to be held June 24

On Sunday, June 24, Long Island Cares, Inc., The Harry Chapin Food Bank, will host its First Annual Motorcycle Run to End Hunger. The Run will be sponsored by American Choppers and presented by Full Throttle magazine.

The ride will begin at American Custom Choppers in Shirley, and end at Long Island Cares in Hauppauge. Kick stands up at 11 a.m. sharp.

The event is in support of Long Island Cares, which, since 1980, has provided emergency food assistance and community outreach programs to Long Island neighbors in need, including children, seniors, single mothers and at-risk individuals.

The cost per rider is $10 and $5 for passengers, along with a donation of non-perishable food.

For registration information and anyone wishing to be a vendor, contact Marisa from American Custom Choppers at 631-281-0017.
