Students at Lockhart elementary in Massapequa "Clown Around"
The PTA, arts and education c o m m i t t e e brought in Cirque du Jour to Raymond J. Lockhart Elementary School in Massapequa. It was an entire week of "clowning around" for the students. Cirque du Jour is a program that the children participate in during gym classes all week. The children learned new skills, juggling, balancing, chinese yo-yo's, stilt walking and more. Bucky and Ray the clowns ended the week by having the entire fifth grade perform a circus. It was a spectacular evening for the students as well as the audience of parents and teachers, said organizers.
