Richard W. Lenz retires from Town of Oyster Bay

Richard W. Lenz retired from the Town of Oyster Bay after 37 years in public service. The Massapequa resident had been Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Public Works for Nassau County, then moved to the Town serving as Deputy Commissioner of Public Works, Commissioner of Public Works and Commissioner of Environmental Control. Nassau County Legislator Peter J. Schmitt was on hand, proclaiming March 13 as "Richard Lenz Day" in recognition of his service.
