Rembrandt comes to Nassau County Museum of Art

An expressive self-portrait is one of several Rembrandt prints now on view at Nassau Museum of Art in Rembrandt to Rosenquist: Masters of Printmaking, a sweeping exhibition that explores printmaking arts from its earliest innovations by masters such as Rembrandt and Durer down to the dramatically-colorful Pop Art works of Warhol and Rosenquist representing the modern era of printmaking. In between are fabulous prints by Toulouse- Lautrec and Jacques Villon that use printmaking to depict the glamour and pathos of the music halls and salons of Paris at the turn of the last century.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition that is completely original. It will only be seen at Nassau County's own art museum so don't miss this opportunity.
