Sanitation collection modified for Memorial Day

Oyster Bay Town Councilman Chris J. Coschignano reminds residents that the Town sanitation collection schedule will be modified for the Monday, May 28, Memorial Day holiday.

"On Memorial Day, there will be no sanitation collection," Councilman Coschignano stated. "Residents who normally receive sanitation collection on Monday will have pickup on Tuesday, May 29, while Tuesday customers will receive sanitation collection on Wednesday, May 30."

He noted that the S.O.R.T. recycling collection will not be affected by the holiday observance.

Councilman Coschignano added that all Town offices will be closed on May 28 in observance of Memorial Day, but all park facilities will be open.
