+Kristin Short of Massapequa has been placed on the dean's honor list and Matthew Giannattasio of Massapequa and Mary Caner of North Massapequa have been named to the deans commendation list for the fall 2006 semester at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

+On March 21, The Farmingdale Foundation and Alumni Association Student Scholarship Reception was held. The following local residents were recipients: Steven Campbell and Jaclyn Romanelli of Massapequa; Patrick Derry, Nicole Hubiak, Matthew Schlameuss and Kayle Tedesco of Massapequa Park and Nicole Caccia of North Massapequa.

+Named to the dean's list for the fall 2006 semester at the University of Delaware: from Massapequa are Michael Arthur Austin, Ryan Christian Bartley, Kristin Ann Buckley, Brittany L. Courchesne, Taryn Marie Crowley, Nicole Esquierdo, Tatiana Nemeh Kharoufa. Laura Marie Lopez, Christina Sophia Papola and Amanda Paige Seidenberg; from Massapequa Park are Allison Jean Chin, Danielle Marie Depalo, Ryann Mary Quinn, Amanda Rose Schlefman and Nicole Laura Walsh; from North Massapequa are Anthony Vincent Brandofino, Amy Lynn Brida, Nicole Lynn Palmer and Christina Marie Gilchrist and from Farmingdale are Jessica Lynn Carvo and Alyssa Cella.

+The following local residents have been named to the dean's list at the State University of New York at New Paltz for the fall 2006 semester: from Massapequa are Michele Mandato, Kerri Serkes, Kristen Bies, Lauren Delvecchio, Sean Dougherty, Brenna Lohman, Christopher Lavin and James Petrick; from Massaapequa Park are Chelsie Friedman,Erin Keltz, Megan Miller, Meghan Flynn, Meghan Mccann and Michael Ferris; from North Massapequa are Lauren Helman, Kristen Williams, Rhiannon Plock, Katie Lyons and Keri Chapman and from Farmingdale are Adam Erdody, Angela Roberto, Kristen La Camera, Laura Schumacher and Shannon Gryntysz.

+Michael Didonato, of Massapequa, a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences at American University, Washington, D.C. was named to the fall 2006 dean's list.

+Carolyn Rodehau, of Massapequa Park, a freshman in the College of Arts and Sciences at Ammerican Univrsity, Washington, DC, was named to the fall 2006 dean's list.
