Massapequa Board of Education president honored for service

The Council of Administrators and Supervisors recognized Massapequa School District Board of Education President Arlene Martin for her years of commitment to education to the students and schools of Massapequa. Martin was honored at a recent Board of Education meeting for her achievements, where Council member Michael Pavlides presented her with the Lifetime of Service Award During Martin's career, she has taught elementary school in the district, directed the Teacher's Center, and has taught at Molloy College. "Mrs. Martin has always done what is best for children," stated Pavlides. "I am honored to be able to present her with this award."
