MPK Village honors local resident Peter Lawless on Memorial Day

Massapequa Park resident U.S. Navy Lt. Commander Peter Lawless just home from his second tour in the Kuwait was honored at this years Memorial Day Parade of the Massapequa's. The parade was sponsored by Massapequa Park V.F.W. Post 7763 under Commander Richard Begandy and American Legion Post 1066 under the command of Jack Hipp along with the Village of Massapequa Park. The parade drew many thousands both spectators and marching units.
