Parents and Teachers compete at charity volleyball game
Children from Plainedge's John H. West Elementary School cheered on their moms, dads and teachers at the annual parent vs. teacher fundraiser volleyball game on February 27 at the Plainedge High School Gymnasium.
The event, led by West physical education teacher, Gary Levitan, featured a bake sale in addition to the game. All proceeds from the bake sale and ticket sales went to benefit The Cody Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities. A total of $1,384 was raised.
