Area resident spends spring break working at habitat for humanity

Michael Wipper, a resident of Massapequa, and a member of the class of 2009 at Providence College, Providence, Rhode Island, recently spent a week working with Habitat for Humanity as part of the international organization's Collegiate Challenge: Spring Break 2007.

Wipper was among 100 Providence College students who volunteered to spend their spring break working at Habitat home sites in seven states. They participated through the Habitat campus chapter at Providence College, which is sponsored by the chaplain's office. Wipper worked on a home project in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
