Shown are winners from the Albany Avenue School.
Farmingdale's Albany Avenue School held an assembly to recognize all their Reflection's participants. Reflections is a National PTA sponsored program that encourages children to pursue artistic and creative expression through the arts. Albany Avenue sent 210 entries for this year's program themed My Favorite Place. The 210 entries were broken down with 137 in visual arts, 50 in literature, 17 in photography, five in videography and one in music. School winner entries were sent to the Nassau District competition and two were chosen to go on to the state level. All the participants from the school received gifts donated by local businesses.
