Folktales come alive in Fairfield Elementary's performance

Students in the fourth grade Magnet program at Massapequa's Fairfield Elementary School performed fabulous folk tale puppet shows for their parents and Fairfield's first graders. Working in small groups, the students studied different countries and selected a folk tale from their country. They then designed their puppets and built them from scratch. They surprised themselves with how lifelike their puppets looked and were excited that the first graders were so impressed by them.
