+Registration is now underway for the Teen Summer Reading Program, YouNeverKnow (YNK)@YourLibrary. Weekly prize drawings begin Saturday, July 7. Help is available to find out what you can to avoid a lot of health problems of the older generation. +The movie Pursuit of Happyness, will be shown Thursday, June 21, 7:30 p.m. and Friday, June 22, 1:30 p.m. Doors open one half hour before the movie. +Registration is underway for Babytime for children up to age 12 months with a parent. It will be held Friday, June 22, 9:15 a.m. +A Rose Garden Tea will be held Saturday, June 23, 2 p.m. The fee is $15 per person. Juliana Van Benthuysen will run the program. +On Monday, June 25, 10 a.m. entertainer Seth Bloom will present BubbleMania. The show includes bubbles that bounce, square bubbles, a bubble spaceship, 20 foot-long bubbles, an audience member encased inside in a huge bubble and lots more. Seating is first come, first served. +Hollyrock Entertainment will present a live TV game show on Monday, June 25, 7 p.m. The show will have a host, referee, chase lighting, electronic scoring, background music, lockout opponent buzzer system, microphones, countdown clock and physical challenge round. The event is for children from kindergarten to grade five with a parents. Tickets are available. +The movie Life With Father will be shown Monday,June 25, 2 p.m.
+Professional educator Barbara Feinstein will discuss various games and strategies you can do to improve your memory, Tuesdays, June 26 and July 10, noon. Registration is underway.
+The Amityville Public Library invites you to be a part of its history by purchasing a brick to be placed in the Centennial Anniversary Garden walkway. Bricks can celebrate a happy event, commemorate an achievement, memorialize a loved one, or honor an organization. The Garden is a living landmark celebrating 100 years of service to the community. Order forms are available at the Library. The cost of each engraved brick is $75 and allows for up to three lines of 14 characters each. Order form, with payment, must be submitted by July 31.
