+The volunteers are in the Library Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon from Senior Connections. Help is available to find out what you can to to avoid a lot of health problems of the older generation. +The Amityville Public Library invites you to be a part of its history by purchasing a brick to be placed in the Centennial Anniversary Garden walkway. Bricks can celebrate a happy event, commemorate an achievement, memorialize a loved one, or honor an organization. The Garden is a living landmark celebrating 100 years of service to the community. Order forms are available at the Library. The cost of each engraved brick is $75 and allows for up to three lines of 14 characters each. Order form, with payment, must be submitted by July 31.
