+The Harbor Lane Library offers a contemporary book discussion group which will meet, Tuesday, July 10, 12:30 p.m. This month's book is The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly.

+ Harbor Lane Library Art workshop led by Pat Stippel on 4 consecutive Wednesday's at 1 p.m. beginning July 11. Register by calling 799-0770, x 316. The fee is $5, no refunds unless class is cancelled.

+A seminar on Investment Diversification Using Asset Allocation will be presented by financial advisor Brian Laibaach, Tuesday, July 10, 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 14, 10 a.m. at the Harbor Lane Library.

+The Library will present a free Concert Under the Stars at Brady Park, Lake Shore Drive and Front Street, Wednesday, July 11, 8 p.m. Local artists, The New York Exceptions, will perform. Bring your lawn chairs. In case of rain, the program will be held in the Bar Harbor Library auditorium, 8:15 p.m.

+The volunteers are in the Library Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon from Senior Connections. Help is available to find out what you can do to avoid a lot of health problems of the older generation.

+The Amityville Public Library invites you to be a part of its history by purchasing a brick to be placed in the Centennial Anniversary Garden walkway. Bricks can celebrate a happy event, commemorate an achievement, memorialize a loved one, or honor an organization. The Garden is a living landmark celebrating 100 years of service to the community. Order forms are available at the Library. The cost of each engraved brick is $75 and allows for up to three lines of 14 characters each. Order form, with payment, must be submitted by July 31.
