Albany Ave. student council hosts breakfast for seniors in the community

Farmingdale's Albany Avenue student council hosted a breakfast for senior citizens from the community. The students designed invitations and sent them out to the Albany Avenue Senior Center. Each student council member waited on one senior. The complimentary breakfast included pancakes, eggs, bacon, a choice of juices, fresh fruit salad, coffee, tea, and assorted muffins, bagels and pastries. Student council members and their families donated food for the breakfast. Teacher volunteers, Ms. Sepe, Mr. Bedell, Mrs. Guardiola and Ms. Foley, prepared the food. The students of Albany Avenue enjoyed the interaction with seniors and left feeling good about helping others.
