King: Greeting cards from the White House available

Congressman Peter T. King has announced that Presidential Greeting Cards for select birthday and anniversary celebrations as well as weddings, births and other milestones can be obtained by contacting his Massapequa Park District Office at 516 or 631- 541-4225.

"A Presidential Greeting Card is a unique and thoughtful way to commemorate a special occasion," Congressman King said. "This one-of-a-kind keepsake will be cherished by your loved ones."

According to Congressman King, the White House Greetings Office will honor citizens with special presi- dential greetings and acknowledgments for 80th and subsequent birthdays, 50th and subsequent anniversaries, the birth of a child, Eagle Scout or Girl Scout Gold Awards, weddings, religious milestones, as well as sympathy cards for a death.

"For most occasions, Greetings will be mailed from the White House approximately 14 days prior to the event," Congressman King noted. "Weddings and baby's birth greetings will be sent after the event."

Congressman King added that requests should be made at least six weeks before the event.
