Margaret Dell'Aquila: beloved 'Pequan matriarch

Longtime Massapequa homemaker Margaret "Margie" L. Dell'Aquila died June 7, 2007. She was 67-years-old and had dedicated her life to caring for her children, husband and home.

Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Massapequa for more than 40 years and spent her life caring for those she loved, said her family

Mrs. Dell'Aquila leaves behind her husband Bernard J.; her children: Bernard D. and his wife Janet, Nicholas J. and his wife Kara and Deborah A. Archipolo and her husband Joseph; her siblings: Thomas Zito and his wife Kathy and Ann Dell'Aquila and her husband Frank; her grandchildren: Stephen, Christopher, Ava and Emily; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She reposed at the Charles G. Schmitt Funeral Home, Seaford, on June 9 and 10, 2007. A Mass of Christian Burial was held June 11, 2007 at St. William the Abbott R.C. Church followed by interment in Calverton National Cemetery.
