•Warren Val Herman, of Massapequa, has been named to the dean's list and received high honors status for the spring semester at McDaniel College, Westminster, Maryland. •Justine M. Fodera, of North Massapequa, received a master of health administration on May 13, from Quinnipiac University, Hamden, Connecticut. •Caroline Kingsepp, of Massapequa Park, was named to the dean's list at the State University of New York at Canton for the spring semester. She is majoring in criminal investigation and is a 2005 graduate of Farmingdale High School. •Paul Dippolito, of Massapequa, graduated from Lasell College, Newton, Massachusetts with a bachelor of science degree in graphic design on May 20. •Two Massapequa residents received degrees at the May commencement of the State University of New York at Fredonia. Kristen D. Norwalk received a bachelor of music in music performance and Laura J. Shapiro received a bachelor of arts in English.
•Christopher Modiano, of Farmingdale, received a bachelor of arts in communication media: management from the State University of New York at New Paltz on May 20. •Two local residents received degrees from Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania at the May 20 commencement. Kristin Short, of Massapequa, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in psychology and Jonathan Giordano, of Massapequa Park, received a bachelor's degree in health sciences. •Michele Mulhern, of Massapequa, was named to the dean's list at American International College, Springfield, Massachusetts for the spring semester. She is a senior majoring in entrepreneurship and the daughter of Thomas and Gloria Mulhern. •Two Massapequa residents received degrees from Lafayette College, Easton, Pennsylvania on May 19. Amy Kalenscher received a bachelor of arts in English and cognitive science and Tobie Lauren Langsam received a bachelor of arts in psychology. •At the May 21 commencement of Boston College, Boston, Massachusetts, the following local residents received degrees. Whitman School of Management. Jessica Miller of Farmingdale and Jennifer Gunn of Massapequa Park were named to the dean's list at the College of Arts and Sciences. He is the son of Rochelle Sendar of Little Neck and Donald Bass of Massapequa Park. •Kristin Manzolillo, of Massapequa, received a bachelor's degree in history and community health, summa cum laude from the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering, Tufts University, Medford/Somerville, Massachusetts at the May 20 commencement. She was named to the spring dean's list. •Zachary Sadoff, of Massapequa, was named to the dean's list at Tufts University, Medford/ Somerville, Massachusetts for the spring semester. •Christopher E. O'Brien, of Massapequa, graduated on May 21 from Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a bachelor of science in computer engineering. He was inducted into the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa, the nation's oldest honors organization. During his time at the school, Rozea served as the chairman of the College Republicans and worked for the student government that served the 12,000 undergraduates of the university. He has been accepted into Albany Law School where he will begin his studies in August. Rozea is a 2004 graduate of Massapequa High School. •Korey Terranova, of Massapequa, has been named to the dean's list at Westminster Choir College of Rider University, Princeton, New Jersey for the fall 2006 and spring 2007 semester. Terranova, who is majoring in music education at Westminster, is a 2005 graduate of Massapequa High School. She is the daughter of Joseph and Denise Terranova. •Commerce Bank has awarded its annual American Dream Scholarship to a number of graduating seniors including Jessica Abejar, a Massapequa resident, who graduated from Holy Trinity High School and Krystal Cantos, a Farmingdale resident, who graduated from Farmingdale High School.
