•The Harbor Lane Library offers programs on an ongoing basis including aerobics and toning classes, Mondays, 7:30 p.m.; Tournament Scrabble, Mondays, 11 a.m..; Let's Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Friday, 1 p.m.; strength training classes for seniors, Monday mornings, 10:30 a.m. and Thursdays, 10:30 a.m; Mah Jongg, Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m.; line dancing, Fridays, 10:30 a.m. and Let's Talk, a discussion group for seniors, Friday, 1 p.m. Contact the library for details.

•A Notary Public is available by appointment only at both locations of the Massapequa Public Library.

•Senior Connections Information and Referral Service will be at the Central Avenue Library, Mondays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to noon and at the Bar Harbor Library, Monday and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to noon. For information call 798-4607, extension 322.

•The Harbor Lane Library will host Ivories and Melodies, a musical performance by the duo, Paul Joseph and Merilee Kaufman, tonight, August 1, 7:30 p.m.

•The Harbor Lane Library will host a seminar presented by SafeGuard Credit Counseling entitled Get Out of Debt, Wednesday, August 8, 2 p.m.

•Investment representative Tom Raad will give a seminar entitled Making Sense of Retirement, Wednesday, August 8, 7:30 p.m. at the Harbor Lane Library. Farmingdale 116 Merritts Road 249-9090

•The volunteers are in the library Tuesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to noon from Senior Connections. Help is available to find out what you can to to avoid a lot of health problems of the older generation.

•On Thursday, August 2 children can make a simple craft at the library, 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., while supplies last.

•On Thursday, August 2, Allan Lieberman will be at the Library singing silly songs for all ages with a parent.

•The movie Music and Lyrics will be shown Thursday, August 2, 7:30 p.m. and Friday, August 3, 1:30 p.m. The doors will open one half hour in advance.

•A program in Improv will be offered Monday, August 6, 2 p.m. for those in grade six and up.

•The movie A Summer Place will be shown Monday, August 6, 2 p.m.

•Computer Third Grade will be offered Tuesday, August 7,l 7 p.m. This class provides a continuation of the Windows environment with an emphasis on pop-up menus and more. Plainedge 1060 Hicksville Rd. North Massapequa 735-4133

•Registration is now underway for the Little Patron's Enrichment Program for three and four year olds. The program is run by certified teacher Linda Martella and covers: alleviation of separation anxiety, kindergarten readiness, pre-writing skills, interactive play, storytime and craft. The cost is $750 for three days for four years olds and $550 for two days for three year olds. The program runs September to May. For information call Pat at 735-4133.
